Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to see our images?
How many images will be included in my wedding gallery?
This greatly varies depending on the wedding however the average gallery has roughly 750 images.
Do you have backup equipment? What do you do in the event of an emergency?
I always carry a full set of backup equipment. I have multiple camera bodies, lenses, flashes, etc. I'm connected with various wedding photography associations and have great relationships with many talented photographers in the Boston area, in the event of an emergency on your wedding day.
Through my experience in the industry, I have realized that a wedding is not the best time to put a strict timelines, such as 6, 7, 8 hours of coverage, in place. I found that most couples were either booking too little or too many hours for their wedding day. Because of this, I decided to change my collections to include comprehensive coverage (up to 8 hours of continuous coverage.) I begin with the last hour of getting ready and stay through a full hour of dancing and you no longer need to worry about things getting pushed back 15-20 minutes on your special day.
What is comprehensive wedding day coverage?
I use professional grade Nikon equipment and prime lenses. My main configuration includes a Nikon D4 and a 50mm lens.
What do you use for equipment?
I only use flash if necessary. I really find it distracting and try to keep it to a minimum. The only time you will typically see me using flash is for dancing shots or if your wedding is taking place primarily in the evening hours.
Do you use flash?
I require a signed contract as well as a $500 retainer, which can be paid by cash, check or credit card.
I want to book with you! What do you require to save our wedding date?
Price includes my travel to your home or agreed upon outdoor location, 1-2 hours of shooting, digital processing, minor retouching and an online proofing gallery of your images. Please inquire about travel fees for locations further than 30 miles from 02180.
